Most maze worksheets only need one clean default. Use Letter when you print mainly in the United States, use A4 when the page is headed to international classrooms, and keep the layout open enough that the path stays readable at a glance.
Choose A4 when
You print for international classrooms, already work in an A4 paper workflow, or need better alignment with non-US teacher resources.
Avoid the wrong default when
